Firstly, I wanted the post to sleeve over an existing pool fence 50mm post with point (non-radius) corners.
The 65mm post covered easily and I used 4mm plastic window packers on all sides at the base and top to centre it.
The posts arrived extremely well packed and protected with only minor marks on one surface but I was happy overall.
The colour and finish were excellent with only the hole they added on one side and end to use during the coating process. They allow for this as the posts were + 5800mm. I cut the lengths using a fine toothed wood drop saw as recommended by my builder. The specialised aluminium blade was not required for only 7 cuts. The drop saw also made the ends perfectly square and no bubbling of the coating, which was a concern could happen with a cut-off wheel/grinder.
My only issue is that the company did not direct deliver and only went to a distribution centre. However, the forklift guy help me tremendously with a place to cut the large lengths down (to fit on my roof racks) and removing all the rubbish and pocking wood (thanks mate). Otherwise, I would have had to use another courier which just increases the cost.
I'll add a photo of the finished posts with the added base and top covers. I also added a 50mm post cover so the new 65mm post could sit on once it was sleeved over.
The guy I contacted with my ordered was exceptionally helpful too : ).
