Decking Jaws will save you heaps of time when constructing a deck.

I am a professional carpenter and have laid many decks over the years. This last job was more difficult than it looks as, the concrete slab was very uneven in depth. Even though it looks like an even slab - It varied in height by as much as 50mm. I purchased a range of different height decking jaws to account for the unevenness of the slab. Laid down an H3 90 x 45mm treated pine sub-frame, coated the top of the sub-frame with water- based bitumen (for added water protection), then laid a 140mm Brazilian Cherry deck. As you can see the decking jaws work perfectly. They are quick & easy to install, take out any height differences and produce a sound even deck that doesn't squeak or move. The client was thrilled with the quality and look of the final deck. These decking jaws are very cost-effective and will save you heaps of time. They come highly recommended. Received my deck jacks in good order, they were really well packed, very happy with the product.
The only criticism I have is with the courier delivery, the guy rang me when he arrived at my address, what is the good of that, some notice is needed of a likely delivery time, say morning or afternoon, luckily I was home.

I constructed a deck on the concrete alfresco of my house DIY. It represent a significant investment, the surface planks guaranteed to last +20 years. Given +20 years life, the support frame to the deck had to be constructed to match. The deck jacks were the most efficient way i.e. very easy and absolute accurate to level and solidly support the deck frame permanently. Admittedly, using the track jacks increased the cost but in my opinion a more accurate and quality support of the frame would hardly be possible without.
