Stock length, glass fit and matching fittings

Nanorail is a stainless-steel capping rail with a 25 × 21mm profile, supplied in a 5800mm stock length. Choose polished stainless, satin stainless or matt-black powder-coated finish from the available options.

Glass compatibility

The rail profile accommodates 8mm, 10mm or 12mm glass. The fixing method must suit the glass thickness and your balustrade design.

• 8mm or 10mm glass: the rail can be fixed with a suitable glass-and-metal silicone instead of glazing rubber. Follow the silicone manufacturer's instructions and confirm the fixing arrangement for your project.
• 12mm glass: our Nanorail glazing rubber is listed for 12mm glass only. This rigid PVC insert is supplied in 2900mm lengths; it is not the fixing option for 8mm or 10mm glass.

Can I order the rail cut to length?

No. Glass House AU supplies 5800mm stock lengths and does not offer a cutting or installation service. Arrange any required site cutting and installation separately.

Which matching fittings are available?

Does glass compatibility confirm balustrade compliance?

No. Rail fit describes compatibility with the glass thickness. Suitability and approval depend on the complete balustrade design and site conditions.
