Sill-less / Hobless Adjustable Semi-Frameless Shower Screen, 1950mm High – Silver or Matt Black

Choose a sill-less / hobless adjustable semi-frameless shower screen in polished silver or matt black, supplied with the matching sill-less conversion kit. Select your front section and an optional return panel to suit an inline or corner shower layout.

The kit is designed to support a hobless, step-free shower entry when installed in a suitably designed and waterproofed shower area. All screen options are 1950mm high; only the width is adjustable.

Screen finish illustrations: Silver and matt black full-screen images are illustrations of the hobless configuration. Installation and finished floor details may vary. Supplied as standard screen components with the matching sill-less conversion kit; installer modification is required. Return panel shown is included only when selected.

What is included

• One adjustable front section with a pivot door and fixed panel in your selected finish.
• One matching sill-less conversion kit: 2 end caps, 1 door seal and 1 floor threshold.
• One matching return panel and 90-degree adaptor if you select a return-panel option.

Installer conversion required: supplied as standard screen components with the sill-less conversion kit. Installation and modification of the aluminium bottom rail are required in accordance with the installation instructions. Glass House AU supplies the products only; installation is not included.

Choose the correct front section width

These are overall front-section dimensions, not clear door-opening widths. The adjustment range differs between a front section installed between two walls and a front section used with a return panel. Measurements are in millimetres.

For a front-and-return layout, the front measurement runs from the wall to the outside of the 90-degree adaptor. Confirm the complete enclosure dimensions before ordering.

Optional return panels

Select No Return Panel for a front-only layout. The conversion kit creates a sill-less doorway at the front section; an optional return panel remains framed.

Hobless entry and livable housing design

The included conversion kit supports a hobless shower-entry design. Final compliance with applicable ABCB Livable Housing Design requirements depends on the complete bathroom design and installation, including finished floor levels, drainage and waterproofing. Confirm the requirements for your project with your installer or building certifier before ordering. The kit alone does not certify the completed bathroom.

Installation and delivery

Follow the screen installation instructions and sill-less fabrication instructions. Bottom-rail modification is installer work; toughened glass must not be cut or altered.

Frequently asked questions

Is the hobless kit included?

Yes. Every option includes one sill-less conversion kit in the matching finish.

Is the shower supplied already converted?

No. The standard screen and conversion kit are supplied together. Your installer must modify the aluminium bottom rail and install the kit in accordance with the instructions.

Is the height adjustable?

No. All options are 1950mm high. Width adjustment is limited to the range shown for the selected size and layout.

Is every glass panel 6mm thick?

The door and optional return use 6mm glass. The fixed front panel uses 5mm glass.

Does buying this screen guarantee a compliant bathroom?

No. The finished floor, drainage, waterproofing and complete installation must also satisfy the requirements applicable to your project.
